The concept - Come and join us for a real insight of the most exciting time of the year for us: harvest.
You will get to spend ½ day, 1 full day or a 2 days experience with us in the vineyard and in the cellar.
Half day: R700
We will be welcoming you at the farm just before dawn as harvest start when the sun is barely. Despite the early morning, we guarantee you it’s a lot of fun. Being entirely part of the Marianne harvest team, and cutting the cluster row by row under guidance of our beloved viticulturist Ernest is an unforgettable experience. Once the job is done, a well-deserved breakfast will be waiting for you at the Tasting Room. The work then continues in the cellar where you will be selecting the healthiest grapes that will end up in our fermentation tanks. Finally, we will then all sit down in a communal table to enjoy a well-deserved South African braai.
Full day: R950
The morning will be similar as the ½ day and in the afternoon, after a little bit more work in the cellar where you will monitor the fermentation process, you will have a barrel tasting and a Wine & Biltong pairing served on our panoramic desk.
1 day/1 night: R3900
Includes a night at our Guest house with dinner and breakfast included. Before the day of harvest, to make sure you are on time for work, or after...to rest!
